Jessica MacLean Shekleton, MA, MT-BC, NMT is a Boston-based flutist, teacher, and music therapist. A graduate of Lesley University and Boston University, Jessica holds a Master’s degree in Music Therapy and Bachelor’s degrees in Flute Performance and Musicology. She studied with John Heiss, Christoper Krueger, and Ethel Farny. She has also worked with and performed for many other flutists, including Linda Toote and Clint Foreman.
Jessica is the owner of MacLean Flute Studio where she teaches private and group flute lessons in the Greater-Boston and Central MA area. In addition to her private studio, she is also an adjunct faculty member at Randolph High School and Dedham High and Middle Schools.
Jessica is a music therapist in East Boston specializing in early intervention.
In her spare time she enjoys rock climbing, playing board games with friends, reading, cuddling with her three cats, and a good nap.
