Becca Lipton earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from UMASS Amherst in 2014. During the day she is the director of Four Winds School, a one-room schoolhouse, offering an alternative education to middle schoolers throughout the Pioneer Valley. In addition to her administrative duties, Becca teaches humanities classes and helps her students with their self-directed work in English and math. Becca has been playing with The Valley Winds since 2016 and is also the tuba player for The Pioneer Valley Symphony and The Valley Bones, a local low brass quartet dedicated to playing fun and meaningful music for our community. During her free time she likes to run, hike, and create visual art. Becca lives in Greenfield with her two cats, Jack and Chloé.
